    Wiki Please - URGENT HELP NEEDED -Should it be a 27792 or 27814???

    I would agree with 27792. You could put modifier 22 on the procedure for increased procedural services. My thinking is he did not actually correct two fractures, only one. 27814 is for bi-mall. Even though his approach was different than normal, he still reduced only the lateral mall.

    Wiki Olecranon Osteophyte Excision

    My physicians often times will do an osteophyte excision from the olecranon with the olecranon bursectomy. I have not been able to fine a code for the osteophyte excision. Does anyone know if this is bundled with the bursectomy or if there is a code I should use for this? Thanks for any help.

    Wiki Diagnostic ultrasound

    Ultrasound of Achilles CPT 76882 would be appropriate in my opinion. CPT states that 76882 is used for an examination of an extremity that would be performed primarily for evaluation of muscles, tendons, joints and/or soft tissues. Note that you do have to have image documentation.
