We are the billing office for Vein Clinics of America we are new it biling interventional radiology and in the future will have several clinics doing IR procedures. One question is with procedures 99144 and 99145 (moderate Sedation) when billed with a Gonadal Embolization procedure do you see these codes getting paid with Managed Care Carriers. Or can you give use some insight on how the procedures should be billed if it is a separately billiable service?
